Hi Walt,

Little Harry is happy and secure in his new home, naturally inverted. Used three 3/16" eye bolts in the ceiling joists with 60 pound fishing line with a pair of sleeves crimped at each end of the lines. At the plane end we attached them to the landing gear then doubled up the lines using holes in the cylinder head cooling fins as an alternative to the main gear.

Sir Winston seems content with the arrangement. Two of the maps are framed WW2 aircrew escape maps of Europe on silk as issued when they went into combat over hostile territory

On May 31, 2013 Mark Hodgson purchased my PT-17 Stearman "Little Ol' Harry" as a surprise 70th birthday gift for his father John. John is the owner of the full size "Ol' Harry". On June 25, 2013 Craters & Freighter picked up the model for packaging & shipment from Apopka, FL. to Lake Tahoe, Nevada. John has been out of town at the 2013 EAA Air Venture Oshkosh Fly-in & did not see his birthday present until August 9, 2013.
