My nephew John Carnes is in the process of doing a complete restoration of a 1968 Pontiac Firebird for his wife Angela on May 29, 2015. Pictures will be added to this page, as progress is made. He bought this 1968 Firebird convertible for Angie.
John was on his way to a doctor appointment when he saw it being traded in at a local Corvette store. It was exactly what Angie wanted. He will start working full time on Angie's Firebird on November 1, 2015.
He obtained copies of the original build sheet and window sticker. The original MSRP was $3,717.64. He will do a complete frame on restoration, with some improvements. He will add power disc brakes to all 4 wheels and will also add air conditioning.
