I bought this Slow Poke at Phil’s Hobby shop in Fort Wayne, IN. in April 1999. I wanted to fly a slow tail dragger prior to flying the P-51D I had just built. This airplane was a great airplane to build and regain my flying touch on after being out of the hobby for 28 years.
I used the following Equipment:
·OS FS-52 Surpass Four Stroke Engine ·Du-Bro fuel filler valve ·Futaba T6XA 6 channel Radio Equipment. ·Four rolls of Top Flight MonoKote. Two Yellow and two Red.
The Slow Poke had over 100 take off’s and landings while I was qualifying to fly RC Aircraft. This is a great flying Sport Airplane.
